MULTIDOS® HPG Feeder
The Next Generation in Gravimetric Feeding
The MULTIDOS® High Pressure Gravimetric (HPG) Feeder is the next generation in Stock Equipment’s long line of feeder models. This latest model incorporates two centuries of feeder experience as shared in a collaborative design effort with the Schenck Process Group. It meets or exceeds the requirements of our traditional feeder users, but also incorporates standard features necessary for feeding PRB coal and alternative fuels.
MULTIDOS® HPG Feeder Highlights:
-
Tension roll and active tracking station maintain belt alignment.
-
Reversible inlet can be rotated 180° after the removal of a few bolts to unload material into the discharge outlet.
-
The inlet promotes mass flow even in reverse when other bunker emptying options are not practical.
-
Inlet width available in 24-inches (610mm), 36-inches (914mm), or 1-meter.
-
Drives can be re-configured for left or right hand in the field if necessary.
-
Round outlet hopper meets 50 PSI requirements and promotes improved coal flow due to the absence of corners and valley angles.
-
Emergency discharge outlet in bottom of feeder simplifies discharge process and reduces clean-up time.
-
Opening and closing two-bolt end doors is done with ease because of decreased weight by over 200 pounds/91Kg while still meeting 50 PSI/3.45 Bar requirements.
-
Composite clean-out chain improves cleaning efficiency and reduces possibility of metal falling into the mill.
-
All internal surfaces are sloped or rounded to avoid coal build-up; optimal for PRB applications.
-
Internal belt scraper increases life of the drive components.
-
Two top mounted and one end mounted view ports. Window wiper kits can be supplied as an option.
