196NT+ Controller

The STOCK® 196NT+ gravimetric feeder operating program and associated net-working software contains a desktop display of current and historical performance data, as well as total fuel delivered to the boiler. Information has been selected to assist in maintenance planning, on-line feeder performance review and automatic collection of fuel-burned totals for use in boiler performance review and operating cost analysis for up to 12 feeders. Much of the fuel-used data displayed and reported is now collected manually, while other feeder-specific operating information currently available goes unused. Through the feeder net-work terminal, a quick review of feeder performance can be done to verify correct feeder operation and determine if scheduling routine maintenance is actually required.

• Expanded calibration data log with time and date stamp for the last 16 calibration, tare, speed, span, and belt length factors.
• Operational event log records the last 32 time and date stamp feeder events.
• Hourly fuel total log stores the combined gravimetric and volumetric fuel delivered totals for each of the last 36 hours.
• Daily fuel total log stores the combined gravimetric and volumetric fuel delivered totals for each of the last 14 days.
• Error recall log has been expanded to include the last 16 errors.
• Enhanced self tests for side-to-side load cell deviation and load cell variation developed to indicate feeder operating performance. It also provides diagnosis of weigh system load response and performance to indicate a need for maintenance and calibration.
• Expansion of serial communications capabilities using Modbus protocol.
